How to get there?
From Tel Aviv: Exit left off the Tel Aviv--Jerusalem freeway at the Hemed Junction and immediately take another left in the direction of Abu-Gosh. On your left you will see the Madonna statue on the mountain. On your right will be the police building. Enter the road that leads you through the village homes and lovely gardens. If you happen to miss the way down to the village center, you can continue along your way and turn right after the right-hand curve in the road after the bus stop.
From Jerusalem: Exit the freeway at the Hemed Junction in the direction of Kiryat Anavim and Abu-Gosh. Take the Shalom road inside Abu-Gosh.
On your left will appear a sign proclaiming Lebanese Restaurant. After eating, return to the Shalom road. When you reach a left-hand turn (near the bus-stop) drive straight to the monastery's parking lot in the village center.
